Unlike condo rentals, we provide daily housekeeping services for your suite at no extra costs to you.

All suites, unless occupied by the same continuous guest, are thoroughly inspected at least once a week to insure that your stay with us will be a pleasant experience. We inspect for burned, cracked, chipped or damaged kitchen items and replace them. Also, at this inspection, the top of drapes, fan blades, tops of pictures, a/c filters and many more items are cleaned or dusted. Finally, any needed repairs including paint touch-up are completed. OF COURSE, THE WHITE BEDSPREAD AND BLANKET ARE WASHED AFTER EVERY DEPARTING GUEST.

Air Conditioning units are removed and cleaned every 4 months to prevent mold from accumulating so our guests with allergies will be comfortable.

Bathroom odors are removed through bathroom fans that vent to the outside rather than just recirculating bathroom air through a deodorizer pad.

The hallways are air-conditioned but the air is never recirculated. Excess air escapes through doorways and the elevator shaft. This helps to eliminate odors and germs in the common areas of the building for our guest's comfort and health.

Our fine Springmaid 200-thread count linens are washed in our own in-house laundry to ensure the quality you deserve and expect. You will never sleep on linens or use towels that are stained, worn, torn, sewn or burned from laundry equipment or cigarettes at the Edison Beach House.

Early every morning our beach is completely cleaned and then a large rake is towed over the entire beach to level and groom it. Our warm freshwater pool is also cleaned every morning and chemicals are checked to ensure that they are balanced. All outdoor furniture is cleaned and left dry ready for your use. You wake up to a clean groomed beach and a sparkling clear pool.

The all-suite Edison Beach House meets or exceeds all current safety codes. For the protection of our guests, each floor is equipped with emergency lighting and EXIT signs, fire exits, fire alarm stations and an escape stairway at the end of each hallway. All suites as well as our public areas are equipped with smoke detectors and a fire sprinkler system. Additionally, all furnishing and building materials meet or exceed smoke and fire-retardant federal standards.

Public areas - including hallways - are monitored through a series of cameras. Suites contain a safe for valuables large enough to accommodate most laptop computers while suite doors are equipped with electronic entrance locks with 1" dead bolts and two180 degree peepholes. One is mounted at a lower level for the safety of our shorter guests. All outside entrance doors are locked at night and require guests to use their key cards for entrance to the hotel. As an added measure of security, we require all Edison Beach House employees to wear photo ID tags.
